\n\t\t\t\t‘Before, I worked in a corporation, preparing hundreds of tables, analyses and calculations. My passion for creation was limited to shopping and my blog with my personal stylings. At some point I realized that I didn’t want to live my life this way and that it was the time to let my creativity speak. ‘\t\t\t<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

When did you discover your passion for fashion?
\n<\/h4>\n

I think it was more a passion to create something, which had been growing in me since my youngest age. I attended classes at the Academy of Art and Design in Wroc\u0142aw with my mom and watched students. Sometimes I got my hands on an easel and was painting. Other times I was firing various forms of clay. When my mom was working on sculptures at the workshop, I was walking around the garden where interesting sculptures made by students and graduates were located between the plants. I think it is where my love for geometrical forms and interesting structures was born. However, I never planned to be a professional artist. When I was in high school, I started to like the sewing machine I inherited after my great-grandmother, who was a tailor. I used to modify clothes from second-hands. It was the 90s, and retail chains were just introduced to the Polish market, and they were quite out of my reach, so modifying clothes allowed me to have something unique. I still tend to go to second-hands \u2013 every time I have a worse day, I go to look for something interesting and buy \u201cin bulk,\u201d something that will inspire my creativity. I never look through hangers filled with clothes with price tags, but I look into those things which, due to old-school style, are considered less worthy \u2013 you may always find some treasures there! I made the decision to professionally deal with design late, as it was not earlier than 4 years ago. Before, I worked in a corporation, preparing hundreds of tables, analyses and calculations. My passion for creation was limited to shopping and my blog with my personal stylings. At some point I realized that I didn’t want to live my life this way and that it was the time to let my creativity speak. There are people who prefer calm and stable life. In my case, same as most artists, I need sensations and constant stimuli to do something. That’s how I know I’m alive!<\/p>\n

Your fashion philosophy\u2026<\/h4>\n

I value not obvious forms and a complicated structure in fashion. It’s probably because I am a clothes constructor and I know how much effort it takes to create something that is not obvious. Materials, their composition and structure, or the way they work, are also important. I start every project from material, and only once I know its possibilities, I adjust project to material. I never expect impossible. The process of product manufacturing is also important. Cooperation with tailors, who support me with their knowledge and experience, is very valuable to me. I repay them with fair remuneration.<\/p>\n

What inspires you when you design?<\/h4>\n

Art is my biggest inspiration. I constantly search the Internet for inspiration and I find works of artists I never knew about. Paintings inspire me with their colours, and sculptures with their form. It is really addictive!<\/p>\n

To whom do you address your projects?<\/h4>\n

My projects are not targeted by age. Women at all age buy my things. They value simple, often geometrical form and my love for oversize style.<\/p>\n

Do you make tailor-made projects?<\/h4>\n

I like making tailor-made projects. Clients appreciate such things more and more, which I am happy about! Orders can surprise me sometimes. It happened that I received orders for e.g. tulle flared dresses and I made it adding a bit of my kimono-like form. I learned by experience not to go beyond your style.<\/p>\n

How does your knowledge on design
\ninfluence your styling?<\/h4>\n

When you study designing, you receive a thorough knowledge on art history, materials and the construction itself. This knowledge is very valuable when you make styling. I know what effect I may get on pictures using given form or fabric. Knowledge expands horizons!<\/p>\n

As a stylist you must use various accessories.
\nWhat do you think about glasses?<\/h4>\n

Glasses are a very graceful element of styling. It perfectly underlines entire style giving it appropriate style. The variability of forms allows for craziness! I am personally a huge fan of glasses, both classic ones as well as edgy ones. I don’t leave the house without a pair of matching glasses.<\/p>\n

When making styling for our magazine,
\nwhere glasses are most important,
\nhow did you select clothing?<\/h4>\n

I didn’t assume that glasses are most important when I was preparing styling for your magazine. I consider the whole styling as a consistent artistic entirety in which each element plays its role and each and every one is same important. Glass frames correspond with geometrical shapes of clothes, fabrics, applications and make the whole look coherent or underline it.<\/p>\n

You are the finalist of “The Stylish Project”
\n[Stylowy Projekt]. How do you recall your
\nparticipation in the programme?<\/h4>\n

I love new challenges that’s why I was tempted to take part in the programme. I faced various tasks in the programme, which I didn’t do on a daily basis. I usually had men as models, so I could train men styling, which basically I had never done before. It was very interesting but exhausting adventure. Imagine a month on the set and facing new styling challenges every day. The filming started in the morning and lasted almost till midnight, with a short lunch break. I had to climb the heights of my creativity, and the accompanying emotions were not making it easier\u2026 But I made it to the finals!<\/p>\n

Do you advice women how to look
\ngood in addition to styling for magazines
\nand photo shoots?<\/h4>\n

In addition to styling for magazines and photo shoots and creating new things at the workshops, I also advise clients. I am available for them at YOSH few times a week. I can also provide assistance with reorganization of the wardrobe. I like contact with people and I enjoy to share my knowledge with them. I also had a pleasure to take part in organizing birthday present for a certain lovely girl, whose hobby is to make her own clothes at home. We designed and made a dress from scratch together!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
